The large 2.4 cubic ft firebox is capable of holding up to a 20″ log with a max burn time of 8 hours. With an optimum efficiency rating of 79% and a low emission rating of 2.3 g/h the Solution 2.3-I is not only an efficient wood insert, but also eco-friendly.
The large arched 16 5/8″ x 10 5/8″ glass surface provides a stunning view of the fire to enjoy as you hunker down in the cold winter months. The Solution 2.3-I insert comes with an industry leading 144 CFM blower that will powerfully push the heat across a large room.
The key stone feature on the faceplate adds to the design of the stove and is available in either 29″ H x 44″ W or 32″ H x 50″ W for larger fireplace openings. A Faceplate Trim is required to finish off the unit and is available in either black or a brushed nickel finish. The Faceplate is the component that flashes around the fireplace insert and covers the fireplace. The Faceplate for the Solution 2.3-I insert is available in two sizes: 29″ x 44″ and 34″ x 50″. The size you choose should be based on the opening of your existing fireplace. Choose the 29″ x 44″ Faceplate size if the opening of your fireplace is less than 29″ x 44″. If your fireplace opening is greater than 29″ x 44″, you will want to select the 34″ x 50″ Faceplate size..
The Faceplate Trim is required for finishing the installation of the Regular or Large Faceplate and completes the wood insert installation. The Faceplate Trim is available in either black or brushed nickel. Choose the size for the Faceplate Trim based on the size of the Faceplate you chose. The black faceplate trim will give a clean and traditional look for the insert. The brushed nickel faceplate trim will add more dimension to the look of the insert.
The Enerzone Solution 2.3-I fireplace insert has one additional option for the Faceplate size. The 32″ x 44″ Cuttable Faceplate is available for fireplaces that are larger than 23.875″ x 36″. The Cuttable Faceplate easily attaches to the back of the included Faceplate to cover any gaps on large fireplaces. You can cut the top edge and sides of the Cuttable Faceplate to contour an arched fireplace or to minimize the amount of flashing you will see. The Cuttable 32″ x 44″ Faceplate is the perfect solution for larger fireplaces.
The Rigid Firescreen allows you to burn wood in the insert with the door open just like an old-time fireplace. Hear the crackle of the wood, watch the flames dance around and relax by the fire on a cold winter’s night. The Rigid Firescreen is easy to install and easy to remove when you are ready to load more wood. The insert should not be burning with the door open without the Firescreen.
The 5″ Fresh Air Oval Kit is required if you plan on connecting a fresh air intake pipe. The oval adapter kit comes with the oval adapter, 2 clamps and the fresh air intake register hood. The oval adapter is intended for the 5″ fresh air intake pipe. You will have to manually ovalize the flexible intake pipe to make the connection to the adapter. The oval adapter can be positioned on either side of the fireplace insert.
The Enerzone Solution 2.3-I wood burning insert is EPA rated and has a HHV rating of 75% which qualifies for the wood and pellet stove tax credit through the end of 2032. From January 2023 through December 2032 you can receive up to a 30% tax credit for the installation and parts required, such as chimney liner and insulation. This is one of the largest tax credits the wood and pellet stove industry has ever had.
