The Faceplate is the component that flashes around the fireplace insert and covers the fireplace. The Faceplate is available in two sizes: 29″ x 44″ and 32″ x 50″. The size you choose should be based on the opening of your existing fireplace. Choose the 29″ x 44″ Faceplate size if the opening of your fireplace is less than 29″ x 44″. If your fireplace opening is greater than 29″ x 44″, you will want to select the 32″ x 50″ Faceplate size.
If you have a nice arched fireplace and would like the Faceplate to conform to the shape to show the nice field stone keystone, then the Cuttable Faceplate is for you. Simply trace the shape onto the Faceplate and use metal cutting snips to cut the Faceplate to size and shape. Making a template is generally the easiest way to transfer the shape. The Cuttable Faceplate does not require a Faceplate Trim Kit.

Hands down the best experience we’ve had with a company doing work on our home. We found them through an internet search, looking for quotes for a complete chimney overhaul. From the first phone call to the day, they completed the work, everyone we talked to was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly! Yup, they were all nice people! We noticed a small issue after they were finished. Within 24 hours, the owner had been out to look at it and a technician was sent out to correct the problem. And they were, again, nice, and completely understanding about it. We couldn’t be happier with the result. We highly recommend ACS to everyone!
We had to have a rebuild done on our chimney. They were very professional and worked hard. What a wonderful job they did! They took away all the old bricks and cleaned them up after they were done. Our chimney looks fantastic. The pricing was very affordable. Thank you, Affordable Chimney!
Brandon, the Affordable Chimney Sweeps technician, inspected my chimney and found a dangerous problem that had been missed by another company’s inspector. As a result, I contracted to have Affordable replace the chimney liners and do other repairs to both the fireplace and heating exhaust systems. Their quoted price was 20% lower than the others. The estimated time for the work was 2.5 days. They came in on time and worked hard without breaks until the rain started late in the afternoon. They came back the next day and surprisingly finished in a couple of hours. They worked hard, they were courteous, and they answered all my questions. They cleaned up carefully. They earned their 5 stars.
