The Century Heating CW2900 Wood Burning Insert is a large size wood insert that is capable of heating up to 2,100 square feet. The 2.4″ cubic foot firebox holds up to a 20″ log and provides up to an 8 hour burn time. This EPA rated wood insert can produce up to 75,000 BTUs and has an optimal efficiency rating of 77%. The non-catalytic stove is easy to run and operate. A powerful 144 CFM blower is included to help push the heat across the space.

The Century Heating CW2900 insert comes standard with the large 34″ x 50″ faceplate, there is no need to upgrade. The unique spring attachment faceplate allows you to easily set the faceplate to any hearth material. The springs will tension the faceplate to the hearth without having to set the faceplate manually. The modern design will fit with most any decor while also providing plenty of warmth in the cold winter months. It is a challenge to find a wood stove insert for under $2000, the Century Heating CW2900 wood burning insert fulfills that challenge with a great combination of function and affordability.

5″ Fresh Air Intake Kit

The 5″ Fresh Air Oval Kit is required if you plan on connecting a fresh air intake pipe. The oval adapter kit comes with the oval adapter, 2 clamps and the fresh air intake register hood. The oval adapter is intended for a 5″ fresh air intake pipe. You will have to manually ovalize the flexible intake pipe to make the connection to the adapter. The oval adapter can be positioned on either side of the stove.

Rigid Firescreen

The Rigid Fire Screen allows you to burn wood in the fireplace insert with the door open just like an old-time fireplace. Hear the crackle of the wood, watch the flames dance around in the firebox and relax around the wood insert on a cold winter’s night. The Rigid Fire Screen is easy to install and easy to remove when you are ready to load more wood. The fireplace insert should not be burning with the door open without the firescreen.

Optional Chimney Liner Kit

Rock-Flex 316Ti stainless steel chimney liner kits are UL listed and the perfect choice to install for your new wood burning insert. Each kit includes the 316Ti Flexible Chimney Liner, Vertical Appliance Connector, 13 x 13 in. Premium Top Plate, and Round Rain Cap.

Tax Credit Information

The Century Heating CW2900 Wood Burning Insert is EPA rated and has a HHV rating of 75% which qualifies for the wood and pellet stove tax credit through the end of 2032. From January 2023 through December 2032 you can receive up to a 30% tax credit for the installation and parts required, such as chimney liner and insulation. This is one of the largest tax credits the wood and pellet stove industry has ever had.
