Owner & Operator

Glenn has been in the chimney and hearth industry for over 30 years. He started Affordable Chimney Sweeps back in 1999 and continues to oversee the day-to-day operations of the business. With decades of hands-on experience and a commitment to quality, Glenn ensures that every job upholds the company's trusted reputation. Outside of work, Glenn enjoys riding motorcycles, attending classic car shows, and traveling. He has been happily married to his wife Kate for the past 13 years.

Scott Hunt

Project Manager & Hearth Shop Manager

Scott is a proud Marine Corps veteran who served overseas as a Lead Harrier Jets Mechanic. With over 30 years of experience, he now leads our Hearth and Masonry teams with precision and integrity. He is CSIA Certified # 9192 and holds the Massachusetts-required CSSL license #106158 for Masonry Repairs, Rebuilds, and Solid Fuel Installations. Scott obtains permits and oversees every detail of hearth appliance installations and chimney rebuilds. When he’s not on the job, you can find him camping with his family in the White Mountains or riding his Harley.

Bonnie

Senior Customer Service

Bonnie has been a cornerstone of our company for over 25 years. As our Senior Customer Service representative, she brings warmth, knowledge, and care to every customer interaction. Prior to working here, she was an apartment complex manager who helped necessitate office management. Bonnie enjoys antiquing with her best friend on weekends and camping with her entire family in the White Mountains.

Mike Powers

Hearth Sales & Customer Service

Mike is your go-to team member when it comes to putting together quotes for Hearth installations and helping get the word scheduled. Friendly and knowledgeable, Mike brings clarity to the process and keeps our customers informed every step of the way. When he’s off the clock, Mike is usually grilling in his backyard or playing weekend softball with friends.

Brandon Magner

Lead Hearth Installer & Technician

Brandon is CSIA Certified # and brings 6 years of hands-on field experience to every project. As our main Hearth Installer, he ensures that each job is completed with expert precision. Brandon’s off-time passions include attending live sports events, visiting sneaker conventions to buy/sell/trade, and listening to country rock music.

Colby Helmka

Lead Hearth Installer & Technician

Colby is CSIA Certified # 11585 and has 6 years of experience in the chimney service field. As a Lead Technician, he’s known for his professionalism, strength, and attention to detail. Colby dedicates his free time to regular physical fitness and enjoys the sport of boxing.

Bailey Atkinson

Lead Hearth Installer & Technician

Bailey has 5 years of experience and is CSIA Certified # 11573. With a future goal of joining the U.S. Air Force Reserves, Bailey is passionate about service and growth. He’s also a competitive online gamer who thrives in fast-paced environments.

Jeffrey Hunt

Lead Hearth Installer & Technician

With over 20 years of chimney service experience, Jeffrey recently rejoined our team this past December after running an arborist business for several years. He is in the process of reclaiming his CSIA certification and brings a wealth of field knowledge and practical skill to every project. Outside of work, Jeffrey enjoys riding dirt bikes, camping, gardening, wood carving, building, and making maple syrup. He’s engaged to his high school sweetheart and is a valued leader in our company family.
